Restaurant

Kyloes restaurant, named after the highland cattle from the Western Isles that were driven across the narrow Kyles to the mainland, has become a byword for innovative and high quality food. Only the finest ingredients, most of which are sourced from local suppliers who have the same dedication to excellence as us, are used as we firmly believe that you cannot make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.

For some items such as fish – we have yet to see the Nile Perch swimming up the River Eden – we have to cast our net a little wider, but we still maintain the same high standards of flavour and freshness.

Browse the sample menus here by all means, but they can only provide a one dimensional experience. Better still, give us a call, dine in style and join the Kyloes family.

If you are just passing by early evening and fancy a quick meal, Downstairs At The Drove provides a cut-down menu of good, hearty pub food given that little bit extra by the Kyloes chefs.

PS: Our apologies to the American gentleman who enquired about our Highland Cattle heads on the walls; we lied, they were not road kill, they were ferreted!
